India signs free trade agreement with European Free Trade Association; ‘win-win situation for all nations,’ says PM Modi

India signed a free trade agreement with EFTA after 15 years of work. Piyush Goyal, Union commerce & industry minister, co-chaired the meeting about the India-EFTA trade deal in New Delhi. The agreement covers various areas including trade in goods, intellectual property rights, and investment promotion. EFTA already has 29 FTAs with 40 countries.
